Google日前推出了一项新服务Google Insights for Search，Google对这项服务的解释是“让你知道世界在搜索什么”。这项类似Google trends 的服务为使用者提供了更强的搜索分析结果，Google trends 可以提供关键词及网站被搜索的趋势变化，而利用这项新服务，用户可以得到更详细的搜索引擎数据分析。Google Insights可以按照不同地域、类别以及相关信息对从2004年至今的数据进行分析，还能以颜色深浅表示搜索量并将其映射在地图上。
